Running to Catch Up
June 26, 2012
Soooo, one of the longest pauses on the blog. I was quite poorly end of April / beginning of May, and since then, there’s been the book party (thanks to all who came) and papers to be written for various conferences, a book chapter and a couple of articles. Monica Blake and I saw our first issue of Alexandria to press but basically, like it says in the title, I’ve been running to catch up.
There are still one or two things I need to accomplish before I get back to having the time for regular blogging, but I have something exciting that i want to post, and felt I couldn’t do so without some sort of explanation for my Spring-Summer silence.
By way of an apology, if one is needed, this picture by Kristina Alexanderson. I’m the little dumpy stormtrooper, and I guess by that analogy, the taller more elegant one turning round to lend a hand would be my academic mentor, Dr Melissa Terras. Or my publisher, Helen Carley.
