Serendipity (2)

I always like to have something topical to link any review into – somehow it brings life and a ‘third’ perspective to the solitary pursuit of reading a book.

So, I was pleased this morning when in another burst of du Maurier-related serendipity the BFI email newsletter announced its Julie Christie season, including one of my favourite du Maurier-based films, Don’t Look Now. Tickets are winging their way to me as I write.
